Charities Within Reach (CWR) was started in 1998 as the Free A Child Project, working with child trafficking in Nepal. In November of 2006 we expanded our oraganization to help build sustainable communities around the world.

CWR's goal is to support local charities around the world that work toward building sustainable communities.

We embraced the El Shadai Hilltribe Orphanage project and its children in 2008. After encountering the El Shadai Hilltribe Orphanage and witnessing their struggle to feed, clothe, and educated these children, we could not turn our backs on the needs of these children.

We have organized trips in 2008, 2009, and 2010 to donate time, money, and "sweat equity" to the projects of El Shadai. Another trip is being planned for October 2011.

When you donate, we will provide quarterly email updates on the children’s progress and the use the funds with an full updates of our trips to the orphanage. There is no contribution that is too small - we appreciate any donation that you can make.
